The Individualised Support Service enables a person with a disability to maximise their independence. Our philosophy is that each individual has a set of unique skills, abilities and characteristics. Our service delivery model is that of a self- directed approach to ensure each participant has as much control and input into their lives as possible.
Self- Directed creative and flexible plans are tailor made and designed to maintain and develop skills for independence. Skills may include:
Service delivery is provided on a one to one interaction between participant and staff. The one to one approach provides opportunities to discover strengths and abilities, as well as obstacles and issues. These are taken into consideration when deciding upon strategies and plans to achieve the set goals. We pride ourselves on matching our participants with staff to ensure they have mutual interests and capacity to support development towards individual goals. Participant’s plans are regularly reviewed to ensure they are relevant and supporting the participant to develop their identified goals.

Individualised Support Service also offers a 'fee for service' pricing schedule which is available for individuals who have an intellectual disability, acquired brain injury or neurological disorder who are not in receipt of a departmental package.
